Malini and myself were very happy to attend the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of KINKINI and the SAMBRAMAM dance programme,on the 31st October,2008.It was an unforgettable evening of excellent Bharatanatyam,performed by your able disciples, melodious vocal music,by vidwan Sri.D.S.Srivathsa,with admirable support from Vidwan Sri.V.R.CHANDRASHEKAR on Mridangam and Vidwan Sri.H.S.Venugopal,on Flute and your superb Choreography and Nattuvangam.Our heartiest congratulations to you,Mr.Srinivas,KINKINI and all those who have been behind the success of KINKINI,during its momentous journey of twenty five years.Kudos to all of you for the dedication,commitment,passion,discipline,sincerity,hardwork,sacrifice,involvement,creativity,discipline and single minded devotion with which you have taught Bharatanatyam to innumerable disciples,in Bangaluru and Kuwait.Your strict adherence to the traditions of this great art and absolute mastery over its nuances,have enabled you to teach and train several students,some of whom presented the dance numbers in the SAMBRAMAM programme.It was a veritable treat,for both the eyes and the ears.Your introduction to each dance was also very good and helped the audience to appreciate the dances better.The programme will remain evergreen in our memory.Our best wishes to you and all the disciples who performed that evening,for many,many more years of healthy,happy,peaceful and prosperous life of dedication to Bharatanatyam.We pray to Lord Nataraja to bless KINKINI and all of you with greater success and fulfilment that comes with teaching,learning and performing such traditional dances..Our special best wishes to Vidwans Sri.Srivathsa,Sri.Chandrashekar and Sri.Venugopal,for their superb performance .We wish and pray for their long life,good health,happiness and success in their contribution to fine arts.
