    Vid.V.R.Chandrashekar (fondly known as VRC)a percussion (MRIDANGAM) Artist.

 "B High" Grade artist in ALL INDIA RADIO, Bangalore and have been giving performances

  as an accompanying artist for the last 25 years. Have performed in various well-known

 media channels like UDAYA, E-TV,KASTURI,SRI SHANKARA AND DD1 BBC too.I am blessed to have learnt this art from 3 Musicial geniuses, who have groomed me in away that i decided to completely dedicate myself to this art.

Did my Intial l training from VID A.RAJACHAR and VID.R.A. RAJAGOPALAN and my elaborate learning were from Karnataka Kalashree VID. Sri.T.A.S.MANI (Bangalore)

opportunities began flowing in at the early stages of my carrier, wherein performed as an

accompanying artist (Mridangam))for well known musicians at various musical concerts

in abroad too for renowned musicians and for the renowned dancers.Travelled abroad for a concerts,( both for Music & Dance )toUK, GERMANY, SCOTTLAND, U.S.A.,SWITZERLAND, Narobi,Srilanka, Hungary, Spain, JAPAN, SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA, AUSTRALIA ETC.

Received Best Mridangam Player Award at Gayana Samaja in the year 1986.

Founder (Former)of  Called NADHASURABHI CULTURAL ASSOCIATION,KOMAMANGALA, BANGALORE

Have been Teaching Mridangam for both INDIAN & FOREIGN STUDENTS,  Successfully Running an Institution by name VRC ACADEMY OF MUSIC & DANCE, at Singasandra,   Conducting Dance and Vocal Classes by eminent teachers.

Also Conducting Programmes (to give an opportunity to upcoming artists) and Festivals in the name of VRC ACADEMY OF MUSIC & DANCE.
