October 24

th 2010th Asian Games inth November 2010.

Dear Mr Chandrashekar,

It is with a great pleasure that I wish to acknowledge your artistic participation in the

memorable concert (Music for cultural harmony) that was organized and produced by

the Association Melody for Dialogue among Civilizations in collaboration with

UNESCO and with support of the Organizing Committee for the 16

Guangzhou on 15

This mega multicultural concert could not become a reality without your artistic

input, which gave rise to an unforgettable production of a concert in which artists

from 25 countries in Asia participated. Needless to say it is only through a collective

contribution of talent like yours that a powerful message of dialogue and harmony

among cultures could be disseminated to public at large and create more believers in

such important cause.

I am sure you agree with me that our important message translated through music

and dance, have helped lifting boundaries and differences embodied in various belief,

religion, languages, tradition and societal systems.

Through this concert we prove once more that the language of music is universal and

regardless where such language is played, it is understood by all.

Having said that let me express once more my deepest appreciation for you to be

there to help us promote the notion of oneness among humanity. Through your

invaluable artistic input we provided a fertile ground for learning and educating

others to appreciate the art of dance and music.

This concert was not an exception to works performed so far by the Association but it

was an added flower to the bouquet, which we have so painstakingly put together

since 2004 and from the inception of this initiative. Our messages on peace,

tolerance, conflict resolution, cultural diversity, education and awareness on

environmental issues have been spread wide and clear throughout various continents.

Adding to that bouquet,, how proud we are now to organize another unique and

memorable concert with your participation now in China and how appreciative we are

that you gave us the honour of your artistic input.

Please let us join hands and promote the important mission which we have all

undertaken by spreading the wings of peace and dialogue through musical harmony.

I remain yours,

Sincerely

Mehri Madarshahi
